MATHEMATICAL MODELING AND COMPUTATIONS FOR COVID-19 INFECTIONS
Abstract:
The emergency situation arising from the spread of highly contagious disease COVID-19 led the various countries to go into lockdown. Indian government also announced the lockdown on March 25, 2020. Purpose of the lockdown is to minimize the contact rates and reduce the transmission of virus in the population. The idea of mathematical modelling is to predict the extent of the COVID-19 spread after the lockdown is over.
